Comedian Ali Baba caused a stir on Twitter when he revealed a saxophonist played Korede Bello’s GodWin in his church...
Ali Baba who feels there’s nothing wrong with the song asked other church goers why Korede’s song will be considered as secular but the tithe and offerings were not rejected.
He also asked why worldly dance steps are used in praising God.
It will be recalled that a similar debate recently occurred on Twitter after a Gospel Singer called out Korede Bello for performing his ‘secular song in a church.
SO IF SONGS BY ANYONE WHO IS NOT BORN AGAIN, CAN'T BE ACCEPTED IN CHURCH, BCOS HE OR SHE ISNT A CHRISTIAN, HOW ABOUT THEIR OFFERINGS/TITHES?
IF ITS BAD TO PLAY A SONG PRAISING GOD BY A SECULAR ARTISTE IN CHURCH, WHAT ABOUT DANCE STEPS THAT ORIGINATED PURELY FROM SECULAR ARTISTES?
